Maya Software Full Version
Maya is an application used to generate 3D assets for use in film, television, games, and commercials. The software was initially released for the IRIX operating system. However, this support was discontinued in August 2006 after the release of version 6.5. Maya was available in both "Complete" and "Unlimited" editions until August 2008, when it was turned into a single suite.[11]
Trial versions of Autodesk software offer the chance to explore the full capabilities of the latest versions for a limited term (typically 30 days). To cancel a free trial, turn off automatic renewal before the trial period ends. If you were not required to enter a payment method at the start of the trial, it will expire automatically.

SGI subsidiaryAliasWavefronttoday announced that customers on full annual maintenance contracts can now download Maya 5. The full version, and upgrades for other customers, will be released on May 1st.
Use the full version of 3ds Max or Maya for $250/year, providing you live in selected Western countries Both the 3ds Max Indie and Maya Indie programs give users access to full versions of the software, not cut-down versions like Maya LT, but are capped at one licence per user or per organisation.
As previously mentioned, Maya LT may be the right 3D software for you. But, it depends on what you plan on doing with it. While you may have more versatility with the full version of Maya, LT users need to plan for specific activities. This is because Maya LT contains a large variety of features, but not all of them. That does not mean that LT is inferior. Simply that you need to prioritize what and why you plan on using the software. This is because Maya LT may not have the toolset you need for a specific task. For a more in-depth look at the difference between features for the full version of Maya and the LT version, take a look below.
First, it would be remiss to not mention the price difference between the full and LT versions of Maya. In general, you can subscribe to either one depending on how much your budget allows. You can choose monthly, annual, multi-year (2 years), or multi-year (3 years) subscription.
Additionally, you have a limited set of animation deformation features and tools for Maya LT. They are also called space warps or modifiers in other similar software packages. For example, the following deformers are missing from the LT version: Delta Mush, Maya Muscle, wrinkle, sculpt, soft modification, jiggle, and wire.
Next, if you were planning on using Maya LT for dynamics and effects work you may need to find a different option. Unlike the full version that has 9 features dedicated to realistic effects and dynamics, the LT version has none.
The only data & scene management tools you get with Maya LT is the File Path Editor UI. Otherwise, features such as Node editor and Scene Assembly tools are only available in the full version.Lastly, you need OS support. And, the full version offers support for different platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. But, unfortunately Linux users are out of luck with Maya LT.
I have now switched to using Maya Indie as my version for 3d modeling and UVing. Maya Indie offers a full version of Maya with few limits. Main limit is you have to make under $100,000 per year with Maya to qualify to use Maya Indie. You can read more about and get Maya Indie here.
The main two reasons for switching were due to Maya LT having the same modeling tools as full version. With UVing & texturing tools being almost identical between both versions; only two things were missing from Maya LT UV/Texturing pipeline - transfer maps and PSD support. But that's ok. I'll take $ savings from Maya to Maya LT by not having these two features.
Earlier this week, Alias shipped the latest full version upgrade of their all-encompassing 3D package, Maya 7. This comprehensive release comes with a variety of new features as well as improvements to existing features. Alias has crammed in enhancements to just about all of the major areas, including modeling, texturing, animation, effects and rendering. These additions are generally welcome yet there still is room for improvements.
Overall, Maya 7 is a solid release. Artists considering upgrading form previous versions or migrating from other packages will get their moneys worth. The few small issues are worth considering if your particular workflow relies specifically on problem areas, such as edge modeling. Like other apps, Maya is beginning to show its age. The current generation of 3D software has pushed the boundaries and nearly reached the limit of their current implementations. Softimage has made some bold moves forward with their recent XSI overhaul; Im hopeful that Alias will take Maya down a similar path with next years upgrade. 2ff7e9595c
